On February 1, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic (the SCIESU) will present a Manual on conflict management in the mining industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Manual has been developed on the SCIESU request with the financial support of PeaceNexus.
On February 3, the ZiL ski resort will host the ninth annual charity tourism festival "Kyrgyzstan, the country of mountain skiing and winter sports". The event is designed to provide the necessary charitable assistance to socially vulnerable citizens, promote Kyrgyzstan as a country of winter sports, recreation and tourism, and promote healthy and active lifestyles among Kyrgyzstan’s citizens.
On February 5, Coca Cola will hold a press conference and cocktail on the occasion of the visit of the FIFA World Cup to Bishkek. Coca Cola has been a partner of FIFA and the World Cup since 1974. Since 2006, before each World Cup, Coca Cola together with the FIFA has been organizing unique FIFA World Cup tours in various countries and continents. On the eve of the World Cup 2018, which will be held in Russia, the World Cup will visit more than 50 countries on four continents, including Kyrgyzstan for the first time.
On February 6, the Association of Telecom Operators will hold a roundtable "The Future of Mobile Electronic Wallets". The meeting participants will discuss the initiative of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on introducing amendments and additions to the Regulation on Electronic Money.
