The UN Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, UN Development Program, Agency of Corporate Development "CSR Central Asia" with the collaboration of the IBC Committee on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility have the honor to invite you to take part in the meeting: «The current state and prospects of development of corporate social responsibility mechanisms in Kyrgyzstan».

The meeting will held on August 19, 2015 at 2 pm at "CSR Central Asia" office 5 by the address 82/1 Turusbekova street, 3rd floor (entrance from the Kiev street).

The given meeting is held in the frame of the project titled "Involvement of stakeholders in the process of sustainable development based on the UN Global Compact principles" (2015).

Goals of meeting:

- Capacity building and consideration of CSR as an effective tool of creating favorable environment for achieving sustainable development in the Kyrgyz Republic;

- Getting feedback from experts in the field of sustainable development and exchange of information and experience;

- Discussing efforts on the implementation of CSR mechanisms taken by IBC Committee on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Agenda of the meeting:

1. CSO: International standards and the countries’ experience. Agenda for the business community in KR. The current state and prospects discussion in the field of CSR (on the base of dialogue platform with experts, held in 2014)

2. The Global Compact as a platform for dialogue

3. Presentation of UNDP initiative “Zhashyl Aiyl”

4. Presentation of future CSR initiatives on (1) labor safety, (2) environmental protection, (3) business participation in territories development, (4) corruption.

5. Other
