French companies studying Kyrgyzstan’s investment potential

Representatives of business associations of Kyrgyzstan, including IBC, discussed the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic and prospects for cooperation with the business delegation of the French Republic.

The delegation visited Kyrgyzstan through the MEDEF International, the largest organization in France, which brings together leading companies from various sectors of the economy. The organization aims to promote the experience of French enterprises, trade exchange, technological cooperation and support to developing countries by investing in the national economy.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Kyrgyz Republic Michael Roux attended the meeting.

The leaders of the business associations of the Kyrgyz Republic told the guests about the investment climate and the conditions for doing business in the country, including for foreign companies. The Government's program "Forty steps to success" pays much attention to attracting investments to the country. The possibilities of participation of French entrepreneurs in the Taza Koom national project of digital transformation were also considered.

Representatives of the French business delegation informed on the activities of their companies and the opportunities for investing in Kyrgyzstan. The prospects of implementing joint projects in the field of energy, agriculture, advanced digital technologies and medicine were considered.
