The Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed the decision of the Customs Union Commission of November 29, 2009 "On Unified Customs Tariff Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union.” IBC Deputy Executive Director Daniyar Mederov participated in the discussions.

The document provides tariff benefits for raw materials and materials imported for exclusive use in the territory of the CU member state within the framework of the investment project being implemented. The meeting participants got acquainted with the drafts of the relevant documents.

Taking into account that the discussion of this issue is continuing, and the provision of tariff benefits directly affects the production activities of domestic enterprises, IBC is actively working with its members on this issue.
