On August 25, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic on Countering the Financing of Terrorist Activities and Legalization (Laundering) of Criminal Incomes". The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 28, 2018. As a result of the adoption of this Law, the norms of the codes and laws of the Kyrgyz Republic will comply with the norms of the new edition of the Law "On Counteracting the Financing of Terrorist Activities and Legalization (Laundering) of Criminal Incomes."
