Participants of the IBC Economic Journalism Club discussed the role of insurance and auditing services in Kyrgyzstan.

The EJC is the IBC project implemented with the support from the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

A business breakfast was organized for the EJC members on October 9. Among invited guests were Aida Asyrandiyeva, KPMG-Bishkek Executive Director, Sanjar Davletaliev, Director General of the AYU Garant insurance company, Valeria Khegai, Board Chair of the of Jubilee Kyrgyzstan Insurance Company, and Talant Kemelov, NSK Board Chair.

The speakers told the current and future journalists about the need to develop the insurance market in the country, increase the insurance culture of the population, as well as the quality of audit services.

According to the participants, the meeting was very interesting and informative.

In the near future, club members will visit businesses in the regions.
