Clear rules of interaction between the state and business could speed up digital transformation in Kyrgyzstan

Foreign and domestic investors attracted under the initiatives of the Digital CASA – the Kyrgyz Republic Project need guarantees, preferences and protection of the state.

Clear rules of business interaction with the state would allow to make strategic decisions, said the leaders of the largest business associations of the country on December 18 at an event of the State Committee of Information Technology and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic on digital transformation in the country.

IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov and Saodat Shakirova, Chair of the IBC Intellectual Property Committee, took part in the mini-foresight of the Digital CASA - Kyrgyz Republic Project.

After the presentation of the main components and benefits of the project, the meeting participants discussed the challenges of the digital era for the country, barriers and business opportunities, the role of private companies and entrepreneurs in the transformation process.

Business representatives proposed recommendations on improving the efficiency of interaction between the state and the business environment, in particular, on the implementation of changes in the regulatory and legislative areas that business associations put forward at various venues.

The meeting participants decided to regularly exchange information and interact through the open working groups of the Digital CASA - Kyrgyz Republic Project.
