Rules of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Committee discussed

On January 16, the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic held a discussion on the rules of work of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Committee under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The International Business Council presented its proposals for the Committee’s regulations and information on current business issues related to attracting and protecting investments.

The IBC also presented the problematic issues of the IBC members and possible ways to resolve them.

On December 25, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed a decree on the creation of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Committee under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov is the Committee member.

The Committee is chaired by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Committee’s Deputy is First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov. The Committee includes parliament deputies, government members and representatives of business associations of Kyrgyzstan.

The Committee was created to attract representatives of the business community and academia to develop proposals for the formation of public policy aimed at providing favorable conditions for the development of industry and entrepreneurship.
