Parliament Speaker congratulates business representatives on professional holiday

On September 16, 2019, the Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council under the Parliament Speaker held a solemn event dedicated to the Entrepreneur’s Day.

IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov is a Council member.

Speaker Dastanbek Jhumabekov congratulated the business representatives and thanked them for their contribution to the development of the economy.

“The contribution of each of you to the development of the country's economy is significant. Currently, the country is actively developing small and medium-sized businesses. Our main task is to create jobs in the regions so that the Kyrgyz people have decent earnings to support their families. The Parliament actively cooperates with business representatives through the Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council. The Parliament adopted a package of laws aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Active work is underway on a bill aimed at developing free economic zones,” Jhumabekov said.

He presented commemorative gifts to a number of entrepreneurs, as well as Certificates of Honor of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Parliament deputies Abdyvahap Nurbaev and Altynbek Sulaimanov also congratulated the entrepreneurs on their holiday.

On behalf of business associations, President of the Association of Light Industry Enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic, Legprom, Sapar Asanov stressed the uniqueness of the Council platform, which provides a stable connection between business and the Parliament.
