Entrepreneurs of Issyk-Kul oblast ask for uninterrupted electricity and water supply

On October 31, 2019, a meeting of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic under the National Sustainable Development Council of the Kyrgyz Republic with the business community took place in Balykchy city of the Issyk-Kul oblast.

Entrepreneurs raised various issues that they face in their activities, and offered recommendations for resolving them including:

- Simplification of access of entrepreneurs to financial resources, including the Development Fund of the Issyk-Kul oblast;

- Uninterrupted electricity and water supply, including prior notification of businesspeople about planned outages;

- Obtaining permits for construction;

- Accessibility of organizations for certification and declaration of food products.

Information Telegram channel for notifying businesses about preliminary and emergency shutdowns of water supply and electricity, as well as about important tasks, has been created by the Balykchy city administration.

After the meeting, the Committee delegation got acquainted with their activities of the Oberon Trade and Logistics Center and Issyk-Kul Oblstroy Material CJSC in Balykchy.

This week, Committee Deputy Chairman, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov, together with representatives of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Investment Council, holds meetings in the cities of Issyk-Kul and Naryn oblasts.
