On May 20, 2015 the draft Law “On Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic” (to the Law “On Licensing and Permit System in the Kyrgyz Republic” and to the Law “On City Development and Architecture of the Kyrgyz Republic”) came in the Parliament.

According to the explanatory note, the draft law was prepared in order to remove conflicts in the laws and regulations.

The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic approved the Provisional Regulation on Concurrent Design and Construction of Buildings and Structures in the Kyrgyz Republic (Regulation of the Government #362 dated 01/07/2014). But according to Article 17 of the Law “On Licensing and Permit System in the Kyrgyz Republic” there are no paragraphs on construction permit and concurrent design and construction in the list of permits for types of actions.

On June 30, 2015 the draft law was adopted at the first reading.
