Competition announced for implementation of the second phase of Safe City project

The State Committee for Information Technology and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic announced a competition for the implementation of the second phase of the Safe City project.

The competition provides for the procurement of services for the automatic provision of comprehensive information on traffic, video surveillance data and traffic rules violations recorded using specialized technical means.

Within the framework of the second stage, 306 hardware-software complexes (APCs) will be launched, of which 40 are mobile, and the rest are intended for high-speed sections and settlements.

Bids will be opened on June 27 at 11:00am. The work experience and technical proposal of the contest participants will be studied. Only after that, the potential contractors that have passed to the next round will be able to make price offers.

The project within the framework of the Safe City public-private partnership is planned to be implemented within three years in Bishkek and Osh, and at the Bishkek— Karakol and Bishkek — Manas Airport highways. Surveillance cameras will be installed not only at intersections, but also in park areas and recreation areas.
