The Kyrgyz-Hungarian Business Forum, which took place in Budapest on September 29, became a unique platform for the exchange of information and experience between the business circles of Kyrgyzstan and Hungary.

The forum was attended by 15 Kyrgyz companies and more than 40 Hungarian companies operating in such sectors as energy, agriculture, food and light industry, the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Following the forum, bilateral documents were signed aimed at enhancing trade and economic cooperation.

During B2B meetings, each company participating in the forum was able to find a counter-partner for further cooperation.

The event was a part of practical implementation of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, signed by Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban and President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov during his official visit to Hungary.
