Draft normative legal acts on subsoil use discussed

IBC participated in a meeting of the Mineral Resources Advisory Council under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The meeting chaired by Deputy Minister Bakkeldy Tyumenbaev considered the Government’s draft resolution "On the procedure of assessment of excessive losses of minerals and mineral components in the processing of mineral raw materials.” The meeting also discussed draft Regulation on payments for withholding the subsoil use license and the initiative to improve the rate of bonuses deposits. It was decided to address comments and proposals to the Economy Ministry. IBC members can send their comments on the draft normative legal acts to the IBC. After comments and proposals are compiled they will be sent to the appropriate authorities.

IBC together with the Economy Ministry is considering the possibility of conducting a study on improving the system of collection payments for withholding the subsoil use license. If you are interested to suppport the study, please contact IBC.
