Business and universities discuss cooperation prospects

IBC and JIA Business Association held a roundtable on the theme: “Challenges and opportunities of cooperation between educational institutions and business” as part of the joint project on internship implemented by IBC, JIA Business Association, EdNet, the East West Management Institute and funded by USAID. The event was attended by representative of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, business associations, Yiyk Ata Jurt Public Youth Foundation, universities, industrial and service companies. Company representatives noted the low level of knowledge of universities’ graduates. In turn, representative of the Education Ministry stressed that business should provide orders for specialists in certain areas. Businesses need to identify a core set of should possess.
