IBC participates in the EBRD Annual Meeting and business forum in London

IBC Executive Director Temirbek Azhykulov participated in the EBRD 2016 Annual Meeting and Business Forum held on May 10-12 in London. The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Economy Minister Arzybek Kojoshev, who is Kyrgyzstan’s shareholder represented individually on the Board of Governors of the EBRD which has overall authority over the Bank. As part of the annual meeting a global business forum was held on the theme: "Influencing Change - The Next 25 Years." Temirbek Azhykulov informed about the role of business associations, particularly IBC, in improving the investment climate in the country, stressing the importance of dialogue between business and Government. On May 13, the Economy Ministry of the KR with the support of the Kyrgyzstan’s Embassy in the UK held a Kyrgyz-British business forum with participation of business circles of Great Britain, large and medium businesses from EBRD member countries, and other stakeholders.
