IBC and ADB developing cooperation in vocational education

Representatives of IBC and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) discussed possible collaboration in vocational education.

The ADB is now implementing the Second Vocational Education and Skills Development Project. An IDB expert working group has developed a questionnaire for potential employers in various spheres of economy.

The project is aimed at updating systems and methods of training, improving learning environment and strengthening program management. As part of the project, the ADB identified a need to revise vocational education standards to increase their alignment with market demands.

An expert working group has developed a questionnaire for potential employers in various spheres of economy. The meeting participants agreed that IBC will assist ADB in conducting the survey.

IBC will address its members and partners with a request to take part in the survey and fill in the questionnaire.
