Business community and Parliament expand cooperation

IBC representatives of Head of the Jogorku Kenesh Office Abdymanap Kutushev discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the business community and the main legislative body of the country.

IBC proposed to resume the activities of the Council for Business Development and Entrepreneurship at the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh. The Council area was formally established as early as in 2011, but no meeting has taken place so far.

Abdymanap Kutushev noted the importance of cooperation with the business community and supported the IBC initiative of the Council's renewal.

To enhance mutual cooperation, IBC also proposed to consider the possibility of participation of representatives of the business community in meetings of Jogorku Kenesh committees through timely information about the agenda and the issues addressed.

The meeting participants also discussed the possibility of carrying out joint activities.
