Kyrgyz Parliament approves introduction of electronic visas
On September 27, the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on International Affairs, Defense and Security approved the introduction of electronic visas.

The IBC Tourism Committee has promoted this idea of for two year.
According to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev, the electronic visa can be obtained by sending the necessary documents via the Internet, without visiting an embassy. Visa-free regime in Kyrgyzstan is valid for 44 countries.
After checking the data by the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, visas will be issued within two hours. A “family visa” without the right to carry out work will be added to the existing types of visas – work visa, investment visa, student visa and tourist visa.
About 31.5 million soms will be allocated for the project including equipment of security checkpoints at airports and at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.
