Economy Ministry suggests reducing the number of regulatory bodies
The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic proposes to amend the list of the authorized bodies having the right to conduct inspections of businesses.
The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic proposes to amend the list of the authorized bodies having the right to conduct inspections of businesses.
In order to implement the National Sustainable Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2017, in particular to reduce redundant control and supervisory functions of the state and due to changes in the government structure, the State Agency for Geology and Mineral was transformed into the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use. The functions of supervision over rational use and conservation of resources were transferred to the State Inspectorate for Environmental and Technical Safety.
In order to optimize Economy Ministry, The Government adopted a resolution "On the optimization of the structure of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic".
In accordance with the resolution, the State Inspectorate for Metrological Supervision under the Economy Ministry was eliminated and its function were transferred to the State Inspection on Environmental and Technical Safety.
According to the amendment, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use and the State Inspection on Environmental and Technical Safety under the Ministry of Economy have been excluded from this list.
The list of the authorized bodies having the right to conduct inspections of businesses:
1. The State Service for Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
2. The State Antimonopoly Regulation Agency under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
3. The State Agency on Fuel and Energy Complex Regulation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
4. The State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
5. The State Inspectorate for Ecological and Technical Safety under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
6. Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.
7. The Department of Disease Prevention and the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Kyrgyz Republic.
8. The Department of Drug Supply and Medical Equipment under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Kyrgyz Republic.
9. The Precious Metals Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
