Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan visits Eti Bakyr Tereksai

On July 24, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov visited Eti Bakyr Tereksai LLC JVC, located in the Chatkal district of the Jalal-Abad oblast.

Due to the lack of several permits, the enterprise cannot start full-fledged work. In this regard, the head of Government entrusted the relevant state bodies to consider issuing of the necessary documentation, the press service of the Government reported.

The Eti Bakyr Tereksai LLC joint venture has the right to use subsoil to develop the Tereksai Group deposits (the Terekkan and Perevalnoye gold ore deposits and the Terek gold-antimony deposit (excluding block XVII) .The Eti Bakir AS Turkish company is a subsidiary of the large Cengiz Holding, Turkey.

According to the Memorandum of Cooperation between Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC and the Eti Bakyr Turkish company, signed on September 30, 2015, the state Kyrgyzaltyn JSC has 25 percent)and Turkish company Eti Bakyr has 75 percent in the joint venture.
