The Economy Ministry in conjunction with the IFC Project on improving the investment
climate in the Kyrgyz Republic held a roundtable to present the Roadmap on Investment Climate Reforms in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the basic principles to develop an investment attraction strategy.
The event was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, international organizations and business associations including IBC.
The roundtable also considered a new draft of the Law on Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic, issues of public-private partnership and free economic zones, as well as measures to improve Kyrgyzstan’s position in Doing Business rating. The draft Law "On Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic" is currently being finalized and will soon be presented to the public.
