Seminars on import and export procedures from UNECE will be held in Bishkek, Jalal Abad and Osh
To respond to the recommendations of the UNECE study on Regulatory and Procedural Barriers to Trade in Kyrgyzstan, in 2017 UNECE has launched a project for “Strengthening the national capacity of trade-support institutions” in the country, with a focus on supply chain management, the facilitation of import and export procedures, and single window implementation. The project has developed a training kit and organized a series of train the trainers’ courses.

Objectives of the seminars:
• To increase the understanding of traders and government officials of international and national trade-related regulations, policies, trends and issues;
• To increase the capacity of national trade support institutions of Kyrgyzstan to provide training for traders and government officials.

Regional seminar "Trade facilitation to access to regional and global markets" will be held in
Bishkek (City Hotel, Baitik Baatyr Str., 34/1) on May 22-25, in Jalal-Abad (Sputnik Hotel) on May 28-29 and in Osh (Biy Ordo Hotel) on May 31 – June 1.
Seminar "Application of risk-based approach in regulatory systems" will be held in Bishkek (City Hotel) on May 22-25 and in Osh (Biy Ordo Hotel) on May 28-29.
