Participants in the roundtable "Open skies: Opportunities and prospects" discussed risks and prospects for introducing the 5th degree of freedom of air in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was organized by the Secretariat of the for Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council under the Toraga (Parliament Speaker) of the KR.
According to experts, this will reduce the average cost of air tickets, increase passenger flow to Kyrgyzstan and create opportunities for increasing incomes in the tourism sector of the Kyrgyz Republic.
IBC Executive Director of the Askar Sydykov stressed the importance of bilateral agreements. The Manas International Airport and the Agency of Civil Aviation should conclude agreements with airlines of other countries for those directions where local airlines do not fly.
The participants of the roundtable decided to submit these proposals to the Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council under the Toraga for further discussion.
