By joint efforts of the business community, the new draft Law "On Regulatory Legal Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic" was withdrawn by the Government from the Jogorku Kenesh of the KR (Government Resolution of May 14, 2018 No. 231).
Earlier, the business discussed the key changes in the bill on regulatory legal acts that could worsen the business environment. It was proposed to shorten the period for public discussion of draft regulatory legal acts to 15 days and grant rights to local state administrations to develop their own regulatory acts in the business regulation.
As a result, the profile business associations submitted a collective appeal to the relevant state bodies, indicating the negative impact of the draft law.
