KPMG in Kyrgyzstan holds a series of events to mark the firm’s 15th anniversary

On 11 May KPMG in Kyrgyzstan held a round table in Bishkek to mark the firm’s 15th anniversary. The event was dedicated to discussing the findings of the KPMG Global CEO Outlook Survey and the most pressing issues for the CEOs in Kyrgyzstan. The guests were business partners and top managers from the firm’s clients in the region, and the presentation was delivered by KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia Managing Partner Assel Khairova. The event was followed by an official reception to celebrate the office’s anniversary.

On 12 May Bishkek hosted the 4th KPMG Chess Tournament in Kyrgyzstan with support from the Kyrgyz Chess Federation. This year, 18 teams competed for the first prize. The winners in the team event was LLC Sky Mobile (Beeline 2) team. The runner-up was Bank Bai Tushum 2 team, and the bronze went to Alfa Telecom 2 team. Kanat Umaraliev from Bank Bai Tushum 1 became the winner on the first chessboard, the winner on the second board was Sardabek Nurdin uulu from Sky Mobile (Beeline-2), while Kyum Amanbayev from the same team won the third chessboard. All participants received souvenirs, and the winners received prizes and certificates.
