Law review for August 6-11, 2018

On August 7, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Government Resolution "On Amending Certain Decisions of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic". The SCIESU proposes to improve the example of calculation of the income tax for mining enterprises; encourage the return of processed commodities; and to strengthen control over the percentage of precious metals in the export of primary commodities. On August 7, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed a Decree, according to which the National Council for Sustainable Development of the Kyrgyz Republic was changed. According to the Decree, Almambet Shykmamatov, leader of the Ata Meken Parliamentary faction, was included in the National Council for Sustainable Development of the Kyrgyz Republic. On August 10, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Government "On approval of the draft Law "On Guarantee Funds in the Kyrgyz Republic". The bill is designed to increase the accessibility of small and medium-sized businesses to financing and to determine an authorized body for regulating the activities of guarantee funds. On August 10, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amendments to the Law "On Cooperatives". The law was passed by the Parliament on June 28, 2018. The law is designed to fill certain gaps in the current Law on Cooperatives. The law provides for the powers and duties of the cooperative councils. On August 11, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Authorized Body in the Sphere of Combating Economic Crimes". The law was passed by the Kyrgyz Parliament on June 27, 2018. The Law aims to define the legal framework, goals and objectives of the activity of the authorized body in the field of combating economic crimes, and to ensure labor rights, measures for the legal and social protection of its employees. On August 11, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Law "On Amendments to the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic". The law was passed by the Kyrgyz Parliament on June 27, 2018. The changes are aimed at streamlining the use cash registers with the introduction of an electronic fiscal system, providing support to producers of agricultural products, as well as for creating agricultural cooperatives.
