Parliament Speaker congratulates business representatives on their holiday

The meeting of the Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council under the Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker, held on September 18, was devoted to the Day of the Entrepreneur in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Speaker Dastanbek Jumabekov congratulated the business representatives on the holiday, describing the measures, including the current bills, that the Parliament is taking to create favorable conditions for doing business in the country.

"We are grateful to Toraga for organizing the event and attentive attitude to entrepreneurs," said IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov, member. Council for Business Development and Entrepreneurship under Toraga.

Heads of business associations —the Council members stressed that with its creation, representatives of the business community began to build up a better dialogue with MPs on a regular basis. This is beneficial for the state, business and the economy as a whole.

The Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council under the Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament Speaker) was established in 2017 and its mission is to ensure a stable connection between the parliament and the business community. The Council is the platform providing the Parliament with quality recommendations aimed at creating favorable conditions for doing business in the country. The Council members are Parliament deputies — representatives of all parliamentary factions, as well as about 20 business associations.
