The draft Regulation on compensatory plantings has been completed taking into account the opinion of the business community

The Business Development and Investment Council under Government of the Kyrgyz Republic drafted the document with the participation of IBC and the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry.

Joint efforts have succeeded in excluding the responsibility of subsoil users for compensatory planting. This function will be implemented by the specialized state bodies and individuals and legal entities they attract.

It is expected that the new draft Regulation, together with the Rules for the cutting of especially valuable tree species, will be agreed in state bodies and submitted to the Government.
