Climate change issues in the country discussed with the NDCP mission

IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov and representatives of the Nationally Determined Contributions Partnership (NDCP) mission discussed climate change in the country and its impact on business activity, how business applies green technologies and what incentives are needed to adapt to climate change. The NDCP mission visited the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss with the government agencies and development partners the country’s priorities in the NDC implementation, as well as the format of interaction with the Partnership.

The Kyrgyz Republic is an NDCP member since 2017. The NDC Partnership is a coalition of countries and institutions working to achieve ambitious climate goals while enhancing sustainable development. The NDCP aims to expand cooperation so that countries have access to the technical knowledge and financial support to achieve climate and sustainable development goals.
