Situation with dominants in the commodity markets discussed with the head of the antitrust regulator

Members of the IBC Interim Commission on dominants in the commodity markets Kyrgyzstan met with Shukhrat Sabirov, Director of the State Agency for Anti-Monopoly Regulation on November 2, 2018.

The meeting considered the draft Procedure of economic and statistical monitoring of the activities of economic entities that dominate in the commodity markets of the Kyrgyz Republic. The document has been developed by IBC.

Previously, most of the issues were coordinated with the relevant employees of the antimonopoly regulator, but some fundamental issues require the approval of the agency’s management.

The meeting decided that the antimonopoly regulator will notify of its decision in the near future.
