Barriers and cases of a successful approach to PPP considered in Bishkek

IBC representatives participated in the seminar "Public-Private Partnership: International Experience, Risks and Opportunities" organized by the Government Office of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Economy Ministry with the participation of the Delegation of the European Union and the Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Parliament, Government Office, various ministries, expert groups, research institutes, civil society, the private sector and development partners discussed the results of PPP research in other countries and the PPP development policy in Kyrgyzstan.

Principle auditor of the European Court of Auditors, Enrico Grassi, spoke about the PPP lessons learnt in the EU countries. International experts informed on the implementation of PPP projects in Asian countries and provided recommendations on the PPP development in Kyrgyzstan.
