Cluster creation, visa free regime and open skies policy will help develop tourism in the Kyrgyz Republic

At the meeting of the Business Development and Investment Council under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, issues of tourism development and liberalization of civil aviation were discussed on November 14, 2018.

The government is considering raising the status of the state body responsible for developing tourism policy, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zamirbek Askarov. Tourist clusters will be created in the country.

The government also approved a bill to extend the visa free period until 2025, expanding the list from 45 to 55 countries with a high level of per capita income. A bill was submitted for public discussion, providing for the introduction of an open skies regime unilaterally, which will increase the number of flights and open new routes.
