Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry and business associations expand interaction

IBC representatives, together with the leaders of other business associations, discussed the promotion of economic diplomacy with Foreign Minister Chyngyz Aidarbekov.

The Minister told about the tasks of the newly established Economic Diplomacy Department, as well as measures to strengthen the activities of foreign agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of economic diplomacy. Mr. Aidarbekov informed on the results of his recent visits and agreements reached on the promotion of joint business projects.

After discussing the existing problems, representatives of business associations proposed to enhance interaction between the ministry and business. Special attention was paid to the development and implementation of joint business projects, the assessment of their effectiveness, and the strengthening of cooperation with foreign partners.

It was decided to continue the joint discussion of problematic issues to develop effective actions in attracting investments, promoting the export and tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan.
