National Bank Chairman discusses plans for 2019 with the business community

On February 19, Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkunbek Abdygulov met with representatives of the country's business community.

The meeting was devoted to the results of 2018 and plans for 2019, announced by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic as the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the country.

During the meeting, topical issues and problems of business, the monetary policy of the National Bank, problems and prospects for digitalization of financial services, measures of the State Program to increase the share of non-cash payments and settlements in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018-2022 were considered.

The meeting became a platform for discussing topical issues of business communities on the availability of financial resources and services in the regions of the country.

Representatives of the business community submitted proposals for the business development in the regions of the country and the digitalization of financial products.

Following the meeting, it was decided to continue the practice of joint discussion of problematic issues to promote the digitalization of financial products, banking products and business development.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the International Business Council, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Alliance of Business Associations, the Union of Builders of Kyrgyzstan, the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan, the Association of Telecommunications Operators, and other business associations.
