Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the EAEU and China has been ratified

On February 25, 2019, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On ratification of the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on one hand, and the People’s Republic of China, on the other hand, signed on May 17, 2018 in Astana” .

The Agreement aims to create a basis for the further development of economic relations between the Parties by ensuring cooperation and simplifying interaction in the areas covered by this Agreement.

From February 25, 2019, the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amendments to the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic” is submitted for public discussion

According to Article 258, imported goods used in agriculture, horticulture, food and processing industry, poultry farming and beekeeping are exempted from VAT.

A bill is being drafted aimed at reducing the negative impact of harmful substances on atmospheric air

On March 1, the Taza Aba (Clean Air) project, initiated by a group of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, was discussed. The event is attended by MPs, representatives of relevant departments, international and public organizations, and independent experts.

According to MP Abdyvakhap Nurbayev, the effects of air pollution are becoming a problem. In order to solve this problem, MPs initiated the Taza Aba project and amendments to some draft laws.
