Advisory group under the Foreign Ministry discusses promotion of economic projects abroad

Representatives of the International Business Council took part in the meeting of the Advisory Group on economic diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting, held on March 12 under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov, was attended by Director of the Investment Protection and Promotion of Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu, Board Chairman of the Kyrgyz-Russian Development Fund Erkin Asrandiev, representatives of the ministries of economy, finance, agriculture, and business associations of Kyrgyzstan.

Minister Aidarbekov informed on the results of his recent visits to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, as well as planned business forums during high-level visits.

Representatives of the business associations of Kyrgyzstan proposed to strengthen cooperation with the Arab countries within the Advisory Group. They also stressed the importance of assisting the business community by overseas agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic in promoting economic projects and participation in foreign exhibitions.
