Advisory Group at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs discusses cooperation development with Germany

On March 18, 2019, a meeting of the Consultative Group on economic diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was held under the chairmanship of the Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Investment Protection and Promotion Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, ministries, departments, and business associations, including the international Business Council. The IBC representative is a Consultative Group member.

Minister Aidarbekov reported on the upcoming visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov to the Federal Republic of Germany, about the events planned within the framework of the visit in the area of economic diplomacy, including a road show.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the German Embassy and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), who informed on the work being carried out and presented the project activities of the organization.

Representatives of Kyrgyzstan’s business associations submitted their proposals for cooperation with Germany and the strengthening of interaction through the Consultative Group.
