IBC Executive Director speaks on doing business in Kyrgyzstan at Kyrgyz-Belgian business forum

On June 3, 2019, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov presented business opportunities in Kyrgyzstan at the Kyrgyz-Belgian business forum.

The event was held as a part of the trade and economic mission of the Kingdom of Belgium in Bishkek.

“It was great to see such a representative delegation led by the Director General of the Walloon Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX), Pascal Delcomminette and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Alexis de Crombrugghe. The potential of commodity turnover between the two countries is large, so the visit of the trade mission is very timely,” said Askar Sydykov.

Thirteen Belgian companies from various industries arrived in Bishkek to build partnerships with Kyrgyz entrepreneurs.

“We hope that as a result of this visit, the trade relations of our countries will receive a new impetus and further joint projects will be set up,” the IBC head concluded.
