Investor rights and guarantees discussed at conference in Bishkek

On July 16, 2019, IBC representatives took part in the conference “Protecting the rights of investors as a guarantor of sustainable development of the Kyrgyz economy”.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the World Bank Group's project to promote growth and investment in the tourism sector of the Kyrgyz Republic, implemented by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The conference participants familiarized themselves with the policy pursued by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the area of attracting, retaining and protecting investors, studied successful international practice in protecting investors' rights, and also discussed the preparation and consideration of legal documents on the protection and promotion of investments within the state and beyond.
