Electronic catalog for the procurement of goods, works and services launched in Bishkek

The official launch of the electronic catalog for the purchase of low-cost goods, works and services took place in Bishkek on September 25, 2019.

The event is attended by the heads of key ministries, representatives of the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic, business associations and international organizations.

The electronic catalog was developed as part of the project on participation of small and medium-sized businesses in government competitions held in the electronic public procurement system funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and implemented by the Department of Public Procurement under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The electronic catalog aims to facilitate access to government procurement for small and medium-sized businesses, support local producers, increase procurement transparency, simplify procurement procedures, and reduce the cost of procurement procedures.
