The Economy Ministry submits for public discussion a draft legal act on measures to transfer the functions of administering insurance contributions

On October 9, 2019, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Government Resolution “On Amending Some Decisions of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.”

The NLA has been developed to implement the Government Resolution “On measures to transfer the functions of administering insurance contributions for state social insurance” dated December 31, 2018 No. 648, as well as to create favorable conditions for taxpayers and to increase social insurance revenues.

Currently, taxpayers are forced to queue for a patent, and then for the issuance of an insurance policy, which takes considerable time. Meanwhile, there is the possibility of obtaining an electronic patent, but there is no possibility of receiving insurance premium remotely.

In order to create favorable conditions for taxpayers and introduce modern tax administration methods that simplify the procedure for acquiring patents and insurance policies in tax authorities, these legal acts propose combining the forms of patents and insurance document, as well as introducing a mechanism for remote receipt of insurance premiums.

Parliament Committee approves the international agreement on the establishment of the Global Institute for Green Growth

On October 8, the Parliament Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security considered the second reading of the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Agreement establishing the Global Institute for Green Growth, signed on June 20, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro."
