Business Kenesh sums up the results of 2019 and defines tasks for 2020

The Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council under the Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker held its retreat on November 29-30, 2019.

The IBC Executive Director is a Council Board member.

MP Abdyvakhap Nurbaev, Council Deputy Chairman, and Natalia Pipia, KPSP Head, made welcoming remarks.

Bakyt Degenbaev, head of the Council Secretariat, spoke about the results of the Council activities for 2019, as well as the goals and objectives of the meeting.

The determination of the Council‘s annual agenda is an important part of its activities. The Council‘s annual plan should be formed taking into account the needs of the private sector. The retreat format is convenient because all the key persons of the Council, as well as the MPs can discuss all issues, focus the attention of the participants on the objectives of the event and ensure full immersion in the meeting.

Following the discussions, the Council’s annual plan was approved and the relevance and period of discussion of issues determined. The Council approved its Sustainable Development Action Plan.
