Business Kenesh discusses how to improve laws governing entrepreneurs

State control is necessary, but it should not impede business development. Inspections by state regulatory authorities are the most important part of creating corruption schemes and pressure on the business.
Recently, the Kyrgyz Government submitted for public discussion draft amendments to the law on inspections, which, according to business, significantly worsens the situation of entrepreneurs and increases their administrative burden.
The business suggestion to prescribe the purpose of state control in the law on audits was considered.
The Council members also exchanged views on a proposal to expand the Parliament powers in the right to interpret legislation.
The meeting participants discussed the problems related to the transfer of functions for administering insurance contributions from the Social Fund to tax authorities. A package of bills was considered that allows eliminating gaps in the legislation in this area.
The Association of Beekeepers submitted recommendations on solving the problems of export of beekeeping products related to the lack of relevant regulations.
The concept of a bill aimed at establishing legal and economic conditions for the development of the jewelry industry was considered.
The meeting was attended by Parliament Speaker Dastanbek Jumabekov, representatives of Parliament committees, MPs, heads of relevant ministries and departments, as well as representatives of business associations.
