Investment Council established at Bishkek City Hall

Askar Sydykov, Executive Director of the International Business Council, joined the Investment Council at the Bishkek City Hall.
The Council was created at the suggestion of the Bishkek Mayor Aziz Surakmatov and according to the decree of the Bishkek City Hall on February 19, 2020.
The Council will be a permanent collegial advisory body to attract investment in the capital’s economy, as well as to develop a unified investment policy of the city administration.
The Council meetings will be held at least once every three months. The results of the meetings will be published on website of the City Hall: www.meria.kg.
Aziz Surakmatov is the Council Chairman and first vice-mayor Almaz Baketaev — his deputy.
The Council members are the heads of 25 large companies operating in Bishkek.
