IBC head meets with World Bank Regional Director
On March 2, 2020, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov met with Lilia Burunciuc, the World Bank’s Regional Director for Central Asia, and Bolorma Amgaabazar, Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic.
On March 2, 2020, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov met with Lilia Burunciuc, the World Bank’s Regional Director for Central Asia, and Bolorma Amgaabazar, Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting discussed the state of the investment climate in the country, development prospects of the mining industry, digital technologies and financial market.
The meeting was held as part of the visit of the WB Regional Director for Central Asia to Kyrgyzstan.
The World Bank is working with the Kyrgyz Republic to boost economic growth and competitiveness and improve public administration, public service delivery, the business environment, and social conditions.
