The Parliament approves the President’s Decrees on the introduction of a state of emergency

On March 24, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted parliamentary decrees approving decrees of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on imposing a state of emergency in Bishkek, Osh and Nookat, Kara-Suu districts of the Osh oblast, Jalal-Abad and Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad oblast. A state of emergency is introduced for the period from March 25 to April 15, 2020

The bill on the rates of insurance premiums for state social insurance has been submitted for public discussion

Since March 23, 2020, the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amending the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Tariffs of Insurance Contributions for State Social Insurance” has been submitted for public discussion.

Decree on the introduction of a state of emergency in Bishkek signed

On March 24, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed a decree “On the introduction of a state of emergency on the territory of the city of Bishkek of the Kyrgyz Republic”.

The Decree introduced a state of emergency in Bishkek for the period from 08:00 a.m. March 25, 2020 to 08:00 a.m. April 15, 2020.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Orozaliev was appointed as commandant of the city of Bishkek for the period of introduction of the state of emergency.

The State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic submits draft laws for public discussion

On March 27, the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amending the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Approving the Regulation on Licensing Activities on the Use of the Radio Frequency Spectrum” dated November 17, 2017 No. 754.

The NLA provides for a temporary ban (moratorium) on the alienation of a license to use the radio frequency spectrum from April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021.
