A law on amending the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the status of deputies of local keneshes” signed

On June 20, 2020, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amending the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the Status of Deputies of Local Keneshes (Self-Governments).”

The purpose of the Law is to bring the Law “On Local Self-Government” into line with the norms.

The adopted law introduces a change according to which deputy powers can be combined with the post of head of a state or municipal institution of education and healthcare.

The Economy Ministry submits for public discussion a draft regulatory act on mandatory confirmation of product compliance

On June 19, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Government Resolution “On Amending the Government Resolution “On Mandatory Confirmation of Product Conformity” dated December 30, 2005 No. 639.”

The purpose and objective of this NLA is to bring the List of products subject to mandatory confirmation of conformity, approved by the above resolution, in accordance with Article 44 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the Basics of Technical Regulation in the Kyrgyz Republic.”

Gosfinanadzor submits for public discussion a draft NLA on the regulation of insurance organizations

On June 19, the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Government Resolution “On temporary measures to regulate the activities of insurance organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic”

President Jeenbekov signs decrees on the appointment of the Government members

On June 17, 2020, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov, in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 84 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, signed decrees on the appointment of members of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Kubatbek Boronov appointed Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic

On June 17, 2020, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov, in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 84 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, signed a Decree appointing Kubatbek Boronov as Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, with release from discharge of previously assigned duties.

Almazbek Baatyrbekov appointed First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic

On June 17, 2020, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov, in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 84 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, signed a decree appointing Baatyrbekov Almazbek Baatyrbekovich as First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Akram Madumarov appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic
