IBC member banks participate in the entrepreneurship financing program

To restore economic and social stability, support entrepreneurship in the context of the spread of coronavirus, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic approved the Program "Financing of Entrepreneurship Entities".

The program aims to support soft loans through selected commercial banks in the following business sectors:

- tourism, hotel and restaurant services, as well as wholesale and retail trade;

- light industry, textiles, clothing and footwear, leather and other leather goods;

- pharmaceutical industry;

- freight transport, transport services;

- stimulation of the activity of manufacturing and processing enterprises, including agro-industry, food production;

- manufacturing industry, with the exception of the mining industry, and other areas of economic activity.

- manufacture of rubber and plastic products, other mineral products;

The government provides loans to commercial banks and MFOs, which at preferential interest rates provide loans to small entrepreneurs, SMEs, large entities.

As of August 20, 2020, the Ministry of Finance issued KGS2,495,000.0 thousand to commercial banks.

Refinancing of loans for industrial, processing and processing enterprises (no more than 30 million soms per business entity) is provided in case of a positive credit history until March 2020.

Basic requirements for obtaining a loan and characteristics of the categories:

1. Resident of the Kyrgyz Republic.

2. An individual entrepreneur, small, medium, large entrepreneur / legal entity, duly registered with all state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic, including the State Tax Service and the Social Fund.
