Entrepreneurs' access to preferential loans expanded
To expand access to concessional loans to business entities, the Kyrgyz Government made changes to the "Financing of Entrepreneurship Entities" Program.
To expand access to concessional loans to business entities, the Kyrgyz Government made changes to the "Financing of Entrepreneurship Entities" Program.
The Program additionally includes several of areas of concessional lending. As a result, state financial support will be provided to business entities by providing preferential credit funds in the following areas:
- Tourism;
- Light industry;
- Pharmaceutical industry and medicine;
- Freight transportation;
- Education;
- Services;
- Trade;
- Agriculture;
- Stimulation of the activity of manufacturing, processing and processing enterprises, including agro-industry.
Restrictions on industries in the component providing for loan refinancing were lifted.
To support small businesses, financing of unsecured loans will also be carried out at the expense of budget funds through commercial banks and microfinance organizations.
